Redness from injection.

Just looking for some opinions. This was my third injection ever. Test E 300mg/ml. 1.5 ml left glute. Injection went well, everything was cleaned with alc. new needle new barrel. Wed. night i did this. Saturday morning I wake up and notice redness around injection site. about 3-4 inch circle. Doesnt really hurt but I can feel it a little. Id say its slightly tender. Its spread a bit the last two days, maybe into 4-5 inch circle. Im using 22g 1.5 needle and during injection i pulled the needle out a little bit halfway through, noticed and pushed back in. The spot doesnt seem warmer than the rest of my body and I havent been running a fever. This is EO based gear. Could it just be some oil seeped up under my skin or does this sound more like an Infection? Allergic reaction maybe? I wanted to give it a couple days before seeing Doctor. I was gonna pop some amoxacilin i had laying around. What are your guys thoughts?

Sounds like an infection. you say it isn;t warm to the touch tho? Is the spot harder than the surrounding area?
Definetly get it checked out soon. Amoxicilin could help, but I would like to hear from some of the other members.

That sounds perfectly normal to me. Might turn into a bit of bruising. Nothing unheard of.

Unless it starts hurting, feels hot or develops a lump underneath the skin then I really wouldn't stress over it.

I've had this happen plenty of times. Remember people, you are puncturing your muscle with a sharp object after all...

Just an update. Doctor said its infected but very mild. Listed cellulitis on my paperwork. Gave me some anti biotics and told me not to inject in my ass again. Im wondering if I'm allergic to this EO based gear. The right glute started turning red last night which is almost two weeks after my last injection there. Trying to decide if i should end this cycle and get some other gear or try a stab in the thigh and see what happens.

It is possible you are allergic to EO based gear, but it could also be BA content. (depends if or how much they put in)
