I have no idea. It would depend on the use.

I don't plan on buying a parachute, but I can see the wisdom in constructing one that won't tear mid jump.

How can you expect someone to pay 10-20 bucks for a few thousand karma that one or two guys can simply erase in a day or two at no cost to themselves?

This has to be addressed if there's to be hope of selling Karma in significant amounts.

Im not promoting or rejecting the new policy. I recognize you aren't happy with the changes. Rather I was simply acknowledging a valid point by BW.

Seperately Id say the following. The entire premise of these changes is to manufacture value for what is otherwise reasonably a valueless commodity. If successful then although you and Klu might be temporarily put off by the loss of a desired recreational activity, the ancillary byrpoduct of these changes would be to add an actual monetary value to your own person which did not previosuly exist. Right now they are pricing the karma I believe at something above $1,000 per million. Making your holdings ostensibly worth over $25,000. Even if you undercut his market by 50%, that would be an insane compensation for whatever perceived loss you may feel you suffered. Even at 1/25th the same couyld be said.

As a Plat, you can buy it at around $300 per million. It's much cheaper as a COTB.

I had a thread a week or so ago, though, asking what value 7,000,000 Karmas. The best anyone seemed prepared to pay was just over $7 in installments which might be a reflection of the current value of Karma.

you could never go in the hole in karma poker they would never let you bring more chips to the table then you have in your acct
and you know even if you did go in the hole you would never buy karma to get back in the positive, why would you? why would anyone?

I can see it happening. Paying a few bucks in order to play poker with some of the guys here.

Right now there would be no reason. But as karma inevtiably dries up, it will be impossible to come by. People will give it away while its free. But when it costs them cash they wont be nearly as generous. Even now karma transfers have cut down dramatcially.

What, two weeks ago when AAP went in the hole people pnied up over a million in less than a day. Now hes stuck trying to figure out what he can trade to get back Sponges k.
