Recovering alcoholic and AAS

Guys, I hope this does not sound stupid. Can the alcohol in the AAS get in the blood and somehow trigger some of the sides an alcoholic has detoxing. I know it not the same, but there are times after injects that I feel like I have dt's and such for a few days. It happens quite often reguardless of the compunds for the most part. Does not matter the stage either(begining, middle, end). Strange.

First off, no. On a side note, since you have an addictive personality you need to be careful with any new drug. You can develop an addiction even to aas. Addictive personalities take everything to the extreme so be very careful.

Good solid advice right there, take it to heart and be careful with aas, how long sober i might ask? I would prob. not recommend aas in your case.

don't mix alcohol and steroids.

keep up being sober, you will grow to hate the taste of alcohol and view it as a hinderance.. no different than how most everyone on here feels like they are gonna throw up from when they smell mcdonanlds yet most everyone on here used to eat that shit up when we were kids and teens.

Appreciate the feedback. I was sober for 7 years, went back out for almost 2 years, and now it has been over 4 years since I have had a drink.

i think you might be referring to the taste you sometimes get after an injection.

good question, i don't know to be honest if it makes a difference but i wouldn't lose sleep over it. sober for 4 years is great. the only alcohol i have had in the past 7 or so years has been a little wine in my spaghetti sauce. i have no use for it

Your sobriety is so important and I applaud you for dealing with it. If I were you and I even thought that my sobriety may be compromised by anything, I would avoid that thing.

I am also a recovering alcoholic, and I have had no problems myself using AAS and maintaining sobriety. However, I have seen it become an issue for others. It's usually when someone without a lot of sobriety jumps into a cycle and then can't handle their emotions. If you work a program and have a sponsor I would run it by him.
