Record an internet broadcast?

What can I use to record an internet broadcast? I have never even thought it before. It's not for me so don't start.

i used to use this shareware product that'd just record your windows audio to an mp3 file. Very handy.

depends what form the broadcast is in. if its a shoutcast, use somehing like streamripper
