Recently stoped my gym routine and started p90x. Any thoughts on the switch?

Great for getting in shape and getting cut. Terrible for getting strong.

There is nothing revolutionary about it, its just HIIT training. It will get you into very good shape, but you wont be very strong, and if you start the program strong you will leave it weaker.
 
Can u combined hiit with strength. Min_wens hiit, thurs_sun strength or are you over working your muscles.
 
If you want to be "toned" (hate that word) cause that's what it's for..

blasting glycogen stores and expending energy...
 
Depends on your goals I guess. Are you doing it just to try and get leaner or are your goals more cardio related?
 
^^^ exactly depends on your goals. look at what those guys look like... or look at what cross training guys look like. and decide if thats the look you want.

personally I strive to look like the old school bodybuilders ofr the 60's/70's. so i bust my ass in the weightroom everyday and eat a bodybuilder diet.. we all have different goals..
