Hi I am new to weight training and bodybuilding and am looking for some advice. I'm 5ft 7 and weigh 10st 7lbs, my ideal body is something like annik nayler. I really want to lose weight and tone and shape my muscle. I have a diet and workout planned below, but some advice would be appreciated on it.
Diet:
Breakfast - bran flakes, skimmed milk
Snack - protein shake
Lunch - wholemeal bread with turkey breast
Snack - Protein shake and apple
Dinner - Chicken breast with veg
Is this ok or is it too much/little?
Then for my workout for the first month to get use to it i will do 3/4 times a week, full body weights but just a couple of exercises per body part then 20mins cardio with each workout.
Is this enough cardio? 3/4 20min sessions?
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
