Really, how bad IS malodextrin?

Anyone tried Nlarge2? Tastes great doesn't it.

I know malodextrin is best upon awaking or post workout, when liver glycogen is low, BUT.. how bad would it REALLY be to drink 3 of these puppies per day? Would be an easy 3,000 calories.

On, say, 500mg of test.. .would these calories truly be empty from the malodextrin? I understand some added "fat" may be at risk.. but.. really.. people act as if 100g of malodextrin is as bad as drinking some whey then 3 cans of coke..

Is malodextrin THAT bad?
 
what are the nutrition facts on it? Maltodextrin is used in all meal replacements...you'd be suprised in how many things you find maltodextrin in. I wouldn't think it would nessesarly hurt you bro, it's lower GI than Dextrose so it won't cause as high of insulin spike. But I would definately pound that shit postworkout if your bulking. Take some ALA with it.
 
It's actually the same GI as dextrose.. It's labeled complex, but it acts like a simple carbohydrate. It's great post workout, I am just lazy and I want to drink it all day.. I guess I just want someone to tell me its okay to drink this shit all day.. I hate preparing balanced clean meals when bulking.. costs too much!

Just wondering.. if the calories are.. empty..
 
drink that shit then bro. I thought Dextrose was 105 while Malto was 100? Oh well I've become to tired to care about that shit anymore. So that shit taste's good huh? :p


the calories arn't empty Malto= carbs, you know that. It's not like eating licorice or gummy bears. Of course once glycogen is fully stored you will probably store the left over as bf...but f'it your bulking!
