Realistic Gains

Alright gentlemen (ladies too),

Pending having recieved all my gear by Monday I am planning for that to be my first injection day for my first cycle. Two questions:

1. When should I take the injection? Time of day/b4 or after my lift/ full or empty stomach ect....

2. What are some realistic gains for a ten (possibly 12) week cycle?

600mg/wk Test E (300mg/mon, wed)

.5mg/EOD A-dex

Nolva on hand and for PCT with Clomid

5'9 ish
210lbs
15% bf


I've heard of some guys gaining 5lbs and others getting 35lbs, so I'm just wondering where in that spectrum most guys fall. Thanks bros.
 
My diet is on point 95% of the time, I say that b/c I allow a cheat day. Sometimes I use it and other times I don't, but thanks

Posting my diet would take a long time, and I have to go to work in a few so the jist of it is:

360g protein (mostly from chicken and shakes)

400g carb (mostly potatoes and rice, some milk usually post workout)

low fat, some fiber usually from potato skin and lettuce depending on day

broken into 6 meals starting at 8 am after my run before my workout. last meal around 8 pm

Snack food is Cottage cheese....its awesome

if this isn't good enough I can post it tomorrow, let me know
 
400 grams of carbs?? i rarely get more than 150. should i be eating more??
 
X is right..the key to growth is Diet.
As far as injects...I like to do it just before a workout..especially injecting into the muscle that I am working out...To me, it seems to make the oil wrk in faster sor something..Maybe it just dissipates it from the area a little quicker.

I've always had the understanding that carbs are necessary for the growth of muscle. When I'm cutting I usually try to stay under 100g daily but on cycle it was recommended to increase them significantly. Anybody think that is too high or good?
 
i guess you are right, i've been trying to cut up for the summer. even when trying to gain mass I still dont eat that much though. i guess im more of clean bulker.

Typically that's me too so I feel ya bro but I want to get as much as I can from this cycle and if that means a little pug from increasing my carbs then I guess we'll see how well I can cut after....

150, fuck!! I drop weight like crazy on anything less then 300 grams of carbs. I have to keep it at a minimum of 700 grams when trying to bulk.

Newbie, like everyone has said, it's all about ur diet and dedication. If u fuck off, then you could end up with only 5lbs. If you bust your ass, you could end up being closer to the 35lbs.

1mg ED would be my bet to start with bro, it isn't that crazy strong anyways
 
Hey,

You are already sitting up there pretty good as far as weight and height goes! You should be a MONSTER like BEAST after this cycle :)

Time of day for injection doesn't really matter.... However, I would inject on a more consistant basis (i.e. instead of monday/wednesday, do it every 3.5 days.... if you inject in the am on monday, inject in the pm on Thursday....then again on the am on monday and pm on thursday)

As for the Arimedex, I would start with .5mg ED..... I personally use 1mg ED, but it is generally a bigger cycle than yours :) Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with your cycle, and you will get some GOOD gains off of 600mg test EW!

As for the diet, go with what you have for now.... You MIGHT want to increase protien a little, but you SHOULD be okay.... Keeps the carbs high like you have them becuase when you are bulking, you want your body to use carbs for energy, and protien for REPAIRING. If you don't get enough carbs, your body will start to burn the protien as energy and you will not get the full re-building effect of the protien...

As for realistic gains? It is really hard to say as it really depends on diet and training, but realistically, you could gain a good 20lbs off of it.... :) maybe more if you really HIT it.

shakes are good for in-between-meal snacks...but don't rely heavily on their for protein source and calories....eat as much whole foods as possible... chicken, turkey, tuna, etc....make sure you're getting your EFA's too (flax oil, olive oil)....

don't have milk post-workout.... you need some simple carbs (maltodextrin or dextrose) with a fast-acting protein (whey).... milk will slow down their absorption and you want your body to utilize those nutrients quickly after a workout

make sure those potates are sweet potates and the rice is brown rice (complex carbs, better glycemic rating)
