READ - Hepatocellular adenomas (Liver Tumor) associated w/ anabolic steroid abuse

Few weeks ago I found out I had a tumor on my liver which is the size of a small apple. Got a biospy done recently and found out its benign (cancer free). The liver specialist told me its called Hepatocellular Adenomas. I started doing research on that and I am reading how one of the main triggers its associated with AAS use.

Been using AAS for almost 10 years. Did a lot of orals (winstrol) for 6 years when i was younger. Didnt think it would affect me but it clearly did. As of today, looks like im going to be fine. Options are surgery or just maybe discontinue all AAS and should regress from what i read. Leave it to the doc.

Has anyone heard or had this problem?

I always took Liv-52 or Livercare on and off. If I may add this, for years I always had some type of dull pain in my right side where my liver was. The main reason why I went to the doctor was because of lower pain pain/stiffness. It was constant every morning for months. The end result was a apple size tumor in the back of my liver pushing up into my lower back muscle and nerves.

Good info and good reminder that the meds we take can be harmful. there is a lot more information and knowledge these days that reduce risks but the risks are always there.

Not only will booze and orals do liver damage but steroids will increase tumor growth...plus, it sounds like you had a genetic disposition so you got a quadruple whammy.

Liv 52 is not really proven, though I believe it does some good as a cleanser. But the ingredients in N2GUARD will help protect the liver and pirkoliv (found in PF POST_CYCLE) has been proven to repair liver cells. At any rate, you may need proper medical attention and anything other than HRT does of test are out of the question till you get healthy. Good luck.
