Need some advice and opinions.
A friend runs a liquid research site. An order of clen was made within the US. This order never arrived to the customer. I believe the tracking number was not working. The customer emailed the site and said he thinks it was stopped by a postal inspector. The customer would never give full answers to questions from the site owner, so the site owner did not know what to do. He got an email today, from the customer, saying his place was searched by cops, and they charged him with a 5th degree steroid posession charge. Could this be true? What exactly is a 5th degree charge?

Offense levels vary by state. LEGAL MUSCLE spells out exactly what the level is in any given state, and what punishments may be expected. Of course, however, Clen is not an anabolic steroid in any state.

Citruscide and myself have been talking about the research companies for a while. I personally think its nuts that people are promoting this stuff the way that they do. A very well know shop got closed recently over this type of thing and its going to start happening everywhere soon.

Heck, when they approached us about advertising on the board, George went to Rick Collins and Rick suggested not to let them on the board.

As for the boards that allow these guys to advertise, I think they are nuts. I have told them all but only a few took heed.

This is a domestic order if we're talking about the site I know about. It was my understanding these packs were rarely opened. I'm I wrong? Or could it have been leaking?

Outside of this there is a great possibility the lab in question is being watched.

Domestic mail can't be opened without a warrant. Probable cause is needed for a warrant to issue. This is all covered well in LEAGL MUSCLE. While not selling controlled substances, these people are selling unapproved drugs in violation of the FDCA.

Without mentioning names or URLs; was this the "research chemical" company with a mailing address on the Gulf Coast in Zephyr Hills?

The site is no longer up. If you really want to know PM me and I'll give you the exact site addy. Although I don't see any reason posting it openly should be a problem seeing how it's no longer there. Not taking any chance though.

I'm not sure about that. I think domestic mail is opened occasionally.

My wife has sent packages --not "packages" packages, but totally legal stuff to NY and has received stuff from NY as well.

On two occasions, her package had been opened and retaped while in possession of the USPS.

If my statement is true, then is not possible for RW's statement to be true.

Just wanted to add that the packages contained foreign language on them, and that they also took over two weeks under first class mail.

The Postal Service protects the type of domestic mail intended for actual or personal correspondence from warrantless inspection: First-Class Mail (including Priority Mail) and Express Mail.

Periodicals (formerly Second-Class Mail), Standard Mail (formerly Third-Class Mail), and Package Services (formerly Fourth-Class Mail) are not protected from warrantless inspection.

You're right about not being sure. You're jumping to a conclusion. Perhaps the package wasn't intentionally opened, but broken in transit and reclosed.
