I personally like the whole trend.

It makes it easier to run up behind a kid and tear out his kidneys with a scimitar if he has loud music playing out of his car.

There is no substantial statistical data that would support your theory that rap or hip-hop music has any affect on crime or society as a whole.

I'm not arguing before a jury, just making a statement which I believe is true. I'm sure half the popular rap artists "singing" about using drugs and committing illegal acts have had absolutely no influence on America's irresponsible youth, right?
