It really wasn't the most exciting fight in world, it was mostly who was involved and the unexpected outcome. Randy was able to take Tito down seemingly at will<he had never been taken down before in the UFC> and then Randy would do the "ground and pound". Tito did a very good job of covering up and Randy only landed a few solid shots.
The excitment was it was expected to be the other way around.
Randy was clearly the superior wrestler, while on the ground nearly always had dominate position and Tito defending.
Expected the other way around? Most of my friends and I expected Randy to win easily. In fact, I can think of several fighters who should beat Tito quite handily. He is vastly overrated.
