Thanks. I'm getting nervous but only because this all went wrong last May. I'm just hoping and praying (and then some) that this all goes well can I can be able to kick my ass in the gym again ASAP.

Oh-- and that's not my butt in natty's avatar. I tend to wear less in my pics. :lmao:

If it only involves the ligaments.......its a straight-forward surgery.

If its nerve-ligament... its a bit more complicated.(I compressed my tarsal nerve quite badly apparently).

6 Months to heal after the surgery.

Thanks Fonz!! Glad to hear that your ankle is doing better. This time around I'm also seeing a hand/wrist specialist and not just a general surgeon. Ultimately I think I'm just being a chicken because that's how I am about most everything. lol

Yes..when it comes the wrist or any type of joint..specialists are always better than GS.

Funny thing is you won't feel a thing....they will inj. a local
anaesthetic into your wrist..and it will go limp.

Its about 1-2 days later that you'll notice a difference(Pre vs Post-op) once the swelling has gone down.

Anyways, good luck...hope it turns out well.

He said it'll take 30-40ish minutes. That's about what it was last time. After they gave me versed to calm me down preop I didn't really care what they did. They woke me up while he was closing and I had no feeling from my shoulder down. It was sort of nifty. I actually asked if my arm was up or down or what. lol I couldn't tell at all.

The incision will be right over the tendon again like last time. The other bummer from last round was that I keloid scarred so the whole deal looks fairly screwy. There goes my hand-modeling career. :lmao:

Versed......... ?

You must have been really nervous.....that stuff packs quite a whallop in the sedative department.. :)

If you want fade the keloid scar, you can try Retin-A 0.05% Cream + silicon sheets + Mederma. Thats what most people us for surgical scars.
