Half living at work, doing at least 30-40 hours of needlepoint a week to try to get that project I'm working on done for my mom by Christmas. Hmm....that was an awful sentence.

I spent the last week taking care of my bf as he was incredibly sick and now I'm incredibly sick. lol Life is funny like that so he's taking care of me.

Girl, I've been trying this needlepoint thing for my mother. It was intended to be for her birthday which was in September. I told her that her birthday present had a slight delay. I'm not giving up though.

Fonz-- my ferrets are furry incarnations of the devil. I love them to pieces but they can open all of my sliding closet doors, all of my cupboards, and drawers too. I'm also begining to think that they have a liquid bone structure or something because 3 of the 4 are 2-4 pounds and fairly bulky-- yet they can get into openings that I can barely get my hands into. Last weekend it took 3 adults 2 hours to find one of them. I was bawling. I just got a bunch of new furniture and she somehow squeezed under a hutch. Damn critters.

PHATchick, I can relate. I am 400+ ours into a project that I started August 01. I have about 20% of it left. I got a bit burned out so I started a smaller project for my mom. This one is a wreath of flowers that's about 14 inches across. I figure that if I can keep up with 30-40 hours a week, I'll have time to finish it. We'll see if I also go insane in the process.
