From what I have heard Valentine 1 is the best. It cost over 400 but it works better than passport.

Can't remember the name but there's one out there actually that works pretty good "for the moment". Soon or later cops find the way to scramble these radars.

Valentine 1 gets the best ratings in all the car mags. But it also costs a fortune. I have a cheap ass Whistler that works OK. I get a lot of false alarms with it though.

I normally get about 1/4 mile warning.

if you can afford it, get the valentine 1. If you dont want to drop that much on a detector, then get the Beltronics B-980 I've got that unit in my truck and its saved my ass a BUNCH of times!
