Now let me start by saying this post at times will cast me as immature, reckless and for the most part showing little regard for others on the road. And as an outsider and even myself I would have to agree but hear me out. I use to love to race my car, I don’t drag race or race on a track my thrills came from just driving on either a street or highway and finding someone who was willing to race with me. Then we would run it for as long as we felt necessary. I usually found the highway to be the best playground and the safest.

I am also not an idiot in the fact that I have been driving for close to 10 years and have amassed a talent for driving and understand limits. I also have some track experience with friend’s cars. Point being I have the skills to handle this type of activity, counter argument would be it’s on public roads and many other people can not handle cars swerving in and out of them. Long story short after 36 tickets, going to jail and selling my rx-7 I stopped saw the errors of my ways and stopped racing and speeding all together.

But once in a while I get that urge to feel the rush. So I am heading up 195 today towards Maryland and I see this cherry mustang a head of me. So after about a minute or two I pass the Mustang and realize there is a very attractive lady driving it. Now for me I love a girl in a hot car all blacked out, so I proceed to pass her and move up the highway. Soon after I see her fly by me, so I realize she is in the mood to run a little. Now my life is not nearly as exciting as it once was, throw in an attractive lady on a nice warm summer day and I am ready to go. We must have run for a good 30 miles at speeds of up to 120 miles an hour. At one point my heart dropped because I passed a state trouper going 115 but luckily he was zoned in on the other side of traffic. Eventually I lost her and had to exit but I just can’t get over that rush I feel. Even though I do feel immature and irresponsible it was good to experince the thrill again.

I never fly when there's a lot of traffic because I don't mind killing myself, but I won't endanger other people. Anyway, I've got my 6-spd LT-1 Camaro up to 420hp at the rear wheel and will be putting a vortec in it next month. I love just driving around looking for other fast cars. I've been doing it way too much lately. Yesterday I beat the pride right out of a yuppie trying to show off to his girlfriend in a new C-5 vette, with a third gear roll-on.

Not to make you feel bad HighIntensity, but I've had my car for a year and a half, been pulled over four times, but gotten zero tickets. :D I know its probably bad juju for me to write this, because I'll get one tomorrow now.

Beating someone on the road is kinda like beating yourself in the gym.

Pulling away from the other guy = feeling the the new deadlift PR move off the floor

I'm running a brand new Ford Lightning that I just replaced exhaust and air intake. Life has gotten a little spicier on the roads as of late.
