How many bros really swear by this supp and take it regularly? What are you findings when you DON'T Take it? Just curious..........

Been taking it for the last 2 months: my bodyfat has dropped, but it may be the ECA as well?
Never take it on its own so hard to tell!

I've actually measured my blood glucose levels with a glucometer, my father is diabetic, after a fast and a high carb meal. It doesn't make much difference for me but i still take 100mg 3x day for general health along with my ALC.

I find if I take it on an empty stomach I HAVE to get some quick carbs in within about 20 min or the stomachstarts turning & churning!! I can definately tell that the recovery is enhanced when I'm taking it. Originally I started using it to combat the toxic ravagings (as an anti-oxident) of DNP. But the more I researched this wonderful supp the more I loved it's usefullness!!

do 1 cycle with a 17a and no r-ala get blood work right after the cycle

do another with same dosage but use r-ala 3-4x a day and ger bloodwork

you will see a difference..

i really cant see why the makers or r-ala are not pushing this more especially with all the new methylated prohormones out there

perhaps it is not emphasized enough.

"taking orals... you need glucorell with that gear... so that your liver wont have to live in fear."

When we brought R+ ALA to the United States we had to look at the single biggest common denominator of potential customers. That was carb management. Glucorell R has been trying to educate people as to all of it’s but when you talk about too many things people get confused and stop listening. On this board though the posts about how it helps regenerate liver cells are plentiful. My conversations with Dr Berkson of New Mexico State Medical Clinic have been posted. He treats and cures Hep C with it and has for years.
But as the board turns over its membership every year there are fewer people left who remember the posts. That's one of the reasons we bump up old posts.

ok, so it's more for toxicity purposes from AAS and NOT as big with use of carbs? I know a few who use it before each carb meal because they say it will "hide" the carbs, thus not store fat, as insulin response is slowed.............?

Never heard of it "hiding" carbs. What I do know is that is creates a tremendous cell vacuum and enhances cell nutrient uptake like mad!! So if the carbs are being "hidden", it seems that their being hidden IN the cell, thus, logically, higher carb uptake. If I'm way off on this, let an expert correct me.

ALWAYS LEARNING!!! :chomp:

I'm a pretty good candidate to answer this question.

For the past 6 months or so I have been taking r-ala consistently with my carb meals. I have not been taking r-ala for the past month because I ran out. Here is MY experience with it...

I have always been fairly lean and while I was on r-ala I didn't notice a huge decrease in bodyfat, but my waist size did decrease a tad. My diet was semi-clean geared towards maintenance of bodyweight (wasn't bulking, nor cutting). Reduction in bodyfat was subtle, but I suspect that since I was fairly lean to begin with the decrease in bodyfat wouldn't be as noticeable. Now that I am off r-ala I have definitely noticed a little more bodyfat around the midsection.

The biggest thing I have noticed is that I get sleepy after eating my carbs now. This is DEFINITELY noticeable, and occurred pretty much the day I ran out of r-ala.

In terms of workout pumps and vascularity, I really didn't notice those much, if at all. The pumps might be a very subtle occurrence, but not enough for me to go into a gym and feel like I can lift a house. No change in vascularity. For the most part I would say I felt a bit more energized throughout the day probably because I wasn't getting sleepy while using r-ala with carb meals.

Overall I would say r-ala is a good product and it DOES WORK subtly and effectively. With regards to my liver, you can't really "feel" it helping your liver but you just know it is. That's reason enough to take it. I will be most definitely getting more in the near future. Hope that helps bro!

I like it

in time you get leaner

sure it part placebo, but when you notice the LBM shifts in time you appreciate it

for me it helped in a couple of ways

1) When I drink caffeine for some reason Gluc-r seem to level me out....
without I always feel like shit

2) I can eat a more carbs and somehow I fell less bloated, and puffy

no one has ever cared to answer my quations with the link on Glur-r in regarfds to caffeine

Good stuff....which product were you using? I find no difference between r-ala and reg. ala, except that I have to take more ala to equal it out....thoughts on reg. ala?

I found the same thing really. There doesn't seem to be much difference, if any, between the two except how much you have to take. The thing I did notice is that the reg. seems to give me killer heart burn whether I take it w/food or not. I read somewhere that the R side is what the body produces naturally and the reg. is not as well recognized by the body so it causes complications. Maybe that's why I get the HB so bad on the reg.

I was using an r-ala product by the first "founders" of r-ala. It wasn't from the afstore. The product I was using had 150mg r-ala per cap and contained biotin long before the afstore even carried r-ala. Sorry I can't give an opinion comparing r-ala to regular ala as I only took reg. ala one time way too long ago for me to remember what happened.

Just get GlucorellR from AFSTORE.. Yes.. there are many more that sell r-ALA. I just like getting the biotin and the r-ala in one single capsule from a reputable source such as the afstore with good people and good quality control. For me that's worth way more than 'saving' some extra bucks purchasing from somewhere else...

I used it for a while, can't say there was any differens taking it compares to S-ALA.

Isn't this supposed to be in the Suppl. section?

I started taking ala a few days ago, it makes me exhausted after taking it. Does this happen to anyone else?
