r-ALA REALLY nice

Hey everyone -

Just a quick note for you all. I just completed my first week of r-ALA from anabolic fitness. I used 2 caps per meal, for 3 meals (or 6 caps total per day). This stuff is pretty wild. I have been eating like crap - not clean at all - and I seem to be loosing my gut! I also feel that the workouts this week gave me a MUCH bigger pump. I don't have any solid numbers because I'm not even sure what to measure - but I FEEL that this has been a great product to use.

On a side note - I seem to be sleeping MUCH better. I don't know if this is r-ALA related at all, but I can remember my dreams more, and I actually wake up before my alarm clock rings (I NEVER have done that) feeling refreshed and ready to go. This week I am going to up the dose to 3 caps per meal 3 times per day (9 caps total). I'll try and keep you posted next week on progress. If anyone has any specific questions, let me know - I'll try and answer them

BTW - not on a cycle (yet)

6'2" 200 lbs

?? body fat (I have no way to measure BF reliably)

if you don't have a good way to measure BF than just mark down the numbers for the 7-spot calipher test. Fuck if the calculations are wrong, just keep the numbers and go on those. If the numbers get smaller = good job, if the stay the same = you're losing your fucking mind.

Btw I've been taking 5g normal ALA a day. My BF has gone down, but my gut has gotten bigger. I can't really explain it. In the morning I am flat and look awesome, but after two or three meals I have a huge stomach poking out even though theres hardly any fat.
 
This is my first time using ALA Superchicken :). I started taking it because of its "anti-oxident" properties - and some have claimed that it can be as effective (or CLOSE to as effective) as a MILD steroid. I'm not sure how true that is, but it seems to be working on my body fat quite well. Right now I'm trying to figure out if ALA needs to be "cycled" or not. According to some of the guides on this board, ALA can be used without cycling, but I'd welcome any pro advice (as always!!).

Bro....that is sooooo f'ed up! I get the EXACT same bullcrap!!!! WTF is this all about! :mad:

S-ala increases insulin production..
this "MIGHT" be the reason for this. for at least a couple of reasons..
a. increased insulin=greater abdominal obesity.
b. there is certainly a link between insulin and the "guts" of the pros.

stress again "might".. are you dieting or on a low carb diet?

If this is the reason, then would these effects be permanent? I'm not on an kind of diet or anything, I just started using ALA to manage my weight while bulking so I have less cutting to do.
 
Ok I know everyone is mega dosing the s-ala but what about the r-ala, is it better in smaller doses?

the mega dosing is with the racemic (which is apprx half R and S)

all the research indicates that considerably less R-ala is needed (likely a third or less of the dosage)

what would you say i do then for my ala. i have r-ala from anabolic fitness store...and i also have 500mg ala from anabolical.com

i was just going to use the r-ala from now on and so was kronk....any suggestions? do we need both or are we golden with the r-ala

we are cutting right now and also taking anabolic fitness store NYC...let me know
 
I have been using the mixed ALA at 2.5-3 grams per day... as a personal test to myself I have been eating like s**t w/ respect to simple carbs I have gained no fat and I feel no lethargy after eating a high carb meal. Once I start to eat a little cleaner I am sure it will help me get more ripped.

You fuckin bastards. Never tried regular ALA before but after reading all this shit Im gonna have to get a bottle of r-ala. Peer pressure I tells ya.

ahhhhh thanks! yep that was my plan but i wanted to make sure...kronk did the research and then the great guys *wink* at anabolic fitness came out with r-ala...

great thing is we can going from like taking 3grams a day to 600-1000mg of r-ala from what i hear...cant wait!!
 
I haven't really searched ala too much but I am aware of its anti-oxident effect which is why I want to use it soon. How much do you suggest to use just as an anti oxident for my cycle. Also. what are th eother benefits of it, it seems like weight loss from all the talk about it. Finally, what is the differance between this rala from anabolic and regular ala?

Bastards...I just ordered my bottle...figure might as well since I am not using any fina along with my eq/winny. We will see what this shit can do on a clean diet.

Nothing takes the place of tren. I just figure since tren is not in my cycle anymore I could add the ALA and give it a shot, see what kinda results I get off of it.
 
Ulter, quick question.

So basically, Im not on a low carb diet. I eat about 250 carbs per day. I am cutting, however, so my cals are kept below 2800. So far I have had good results off this diet.

Anyway, when would you suggest I take my doses of this r-ala? Breakfast, post-workout, then dinner? I eat about 7 times per day, should I just use them on the 3 meals I eat the most carbs?
