quick WU question

Hey y'all--

Really only posting this out of total paranoia, but I've been out of the game for awhile, so wanted to be sure. Hypothetically, if I were sending WU funds to an overseas source, but the address to which the gear was going to is not my residence and has nothing to do with me (a friend's addy), I have nothing to worry about giving my real contact info on the WU slip. My order is under $1000, so I know I shouldn't have to show ID, and if I don't, I'll use fake info. But I live in a small town without many WU options, so if they are being bitches and want ID, I just want to confirm that it won't put me at any risk. Seems like even if there any trouble with package, they wouldn't be able to match it up with the WU order, since my name or addy won't be associated with the package. I know that my friend could still take a hit, but I'm just being paranoid. Also, the source uses a domestic remailar, so that would seem to make it even more difficult to link the package with the WU order, since the stuff would be coming from a different place entirely.

Any info or comments would be greatly appreciated and would reasurre my clearly overactive imagination.

Just go to another wu location somewhere else that doesn't require and id and use fake info. I think almost everywhere requires and ID (real or fake) to send funds, but to pick up funds you can have sender use a question and answer otion when sending and then you can pick it up with no id.

ive done both ive used fake names real names its not illegal to send money! its the addy you give to the shipper that matters

If you use a fake one and there is some problem, you have just kissed your money goodbye. Like someone said, its not a crime to send money.
