Quick Question...

Are Push-ups, Chins, Crunches, Squats (w/o weight) and Heel Raises considered "Resistance Training" exercises? My friend won't believe me... I mean, it's using your body as resistance (besides crunches, actually) but he thinks it's only resistance training when you have weight. Just tell him for me =/

Yes. Technically, those are all resistance excercises. Bodyweight is still weight and provides resistance.

If you were to simply stand there and push your arms out in front of you, back and fourth for five minutes and consider that a pushup, you'd be wrong. Or you were to lie down on the ground and kick your feet up and call that a leg press, you'd also be wrong. There is literally no resistance there.
