Quick help from computer peeps,please(for K)

I'm trying to send a video file(from my computer) with my hotmail email. Everything works fine until I try to attach it. Every damn time I try, my email disconnects. I get the not connected to the internet crap but only when I try to attach the file. WTF? BTW- I have never sent a video before. It's one I downloaded from my camera memory card. It plays fine on my computer but I can't send it. Am I doing something stupid or missing something?
K for help. Thanx ....in advance! :heart:

What is the file type that you're trying to send?

That's why I asked about its size. If it's too big, you can try to use winzip to make it smaller.

Ok. U were right. I zipped it and sent it .....BUT the person I sent it to(older person, be nice) says they can't open zipped files. I tried another account I have but it is now saying the unzipped version it 2large. Is there another way?

What about youtube? Should I create a youtube account and just have them check on there? What do u think?
 
Get a Gmail account. Otherwise just upload the video here-
www.filefactory.com and send the link to the person.

Easy. Let the other person download winzip to his computer. After they install it, they will be able to open the zipped file. Your idea of youtube will work too. You can also post in on facebook or myspace if you have an account on there.

Yahoo mail allows up to 10mb attachments, but you can also open a photobucket account and load it there...make the setting 'public' and they should be able to access it. YouTube should also work. Your friend could also download some freeware to unzip the file you sent.

Burn it to a CD or better yet, convert to DVD they can play on their DVD/TV in the "Living room".

Then drop it in the mail...... & wait.
