Quick answer please for 1st injection

defintaly doesnt matter....just for me...if i am putting two compounds in the same barrel...i always change the needle head cause it gets dull...most guys will tell you to change it everytime anyway

Draw up with a larger needle like 20g.
Draw both Test and EQ into the same syringe.
Change needle, then inject.

I normally buy 3ml syringes with 23g 1.5" needle, then I buy some extra 20g needles.
Open the wrapper on the syringe, hold on to the needle while in the wrapper then unscrew it from the syringe. That needle does not leave the wrapper at this point.
Open the 20g needle and screw it on the syringe.
Draw then put the 23g needle on the syringe - inject.

Why not just buy 3ml syringes with a 20g needle and some extra 23's instead.

same thing.
Make no difference if you buy them with a 23g or a 20g needle.
The point is to use a larger needle to draw then change to a smaller needle to inject.

I usually just buy whatever combo thats the cheapest.

actually it does make a diffrence, cause with the 23s already on you need to take that off and put the 20s to draw and then put the 23s back on, instead of buying them with the 20s attached, draw, then put on the 23s and inject.. 2 steps instead of 3 and less probability for germs bacteria leaving the 23s lying around.. :bat: hehe

IMHO don't go larger than a 20 for withdrawing - 18's love to leave rubber chuncks in my brew. I spent some time recently refiltering some shit that an 18 guage left a chunck in.

Like I said - makes no difference.

The 23g needle never leaves the wrapper and its not touched by human hands before its already screwed on to the syringe. My house is not that bacteria infested that I am worried about an airborne bacteria that actually finds it way to the exposed top of the needle for the few seconds its available, then survives the BA and gets into the syringe. nah, I think its ok.

But I get your point and do agree with reducing the steps - but I am cheap ass and will get whatever thats cheaper when I order.
