Quick ??? about minoxidil 5%

I bought minoxidil 5%. I bought it at Costco, They had rogaine and a rogaine imitation. I compared both of them and they had the exact same ingredients, box, etc. The imitation is made by kirkland. The only difference was the price. The kirkland one was about 40%cheaper than rogaine, so I figured I might as well try this one first. Do you think there is a difference in either one?
Also when applying it to your scalp by using the dropper it comes with do you rub it into your scalp?

I used the kirlkland minox and it absolutely destroyed my scalp. I'm pretty sure it is the same stuff as Rogaine though so I would probably have had the same problems. Insane itchiness and dandruff even using nizoral every other day. Just continued to get worse and worse so I stopped and am now taking proscar.

Used both. Id' go with the Costco. I get results on both and I have no problems with itching or anything.
