Your friend quite simply is a fuckface who will get caught slippin'.....
Doing any longterm (10-12 weeks) cycle without proper PCT is kissing goodbye to all your gains.....he will have what we call "post-cycle crash" when his hormone levels are off the chain... His estrogen will rebound and his testosterone will fall back in line, which means a closer ration of test:estrogen.......he will wonder what the fuck happened and get depressed, possibly grow a nice set of rosebud nipples that mirror his girlfriend's and his libido will suffer......basically he'll be stripping away the gains he made on cycle because he won't be able to sustain the newfound muscle mass by doing the same weight he was pumpin' before. He will be more susceptible to injury and will take longer to recover from a lesser workload than before....basically it's the worst of all things if he doesn't do proper PCT.
He'll be slippin' and there will be noone there to hasten his fall.....
