Questions on A-Fib

First I'll explain. My first cycle was test enanth and var. Had no issues. Second cycle was test prop and NPP, had an episode of afib, it was classified as tach though but it wasn't only tach. i get fast, hard heartbeats, irregular beating, fast for 10 beats and then 3 slow beats then 5 mediums and then slow and then racing. it's crazy. I also feel weird when this happens. i can feel my heartbeat in my lungs. i know caffiene and alcohol will set this off for me also. but i am not using any and started igf and it happened again. As far as i know it's not really a danger but an annoyance. the only danger is a possible clot. but it is seriously scary. it usually happens when i'm sleeping and it wakes me up. happened last week on a night of shooting igf and big ass meal, felll asleep for a short while and woke up sweating profusely and heart racing and then the irregular beats. took aspirin and fish oil and garlic, tried a remedy my mother told me about which is raw lavender oil on your chest. believe it or not it stopped it. weird. anyways. my buddy gets this too, his episodes are much longer than mine, lasting 12 hours sometimes. mine usually last 5-20 minutes, longest run was 1.5 hours. my questions are

Should I avoid Testosterone and IGF?

Should I avoid any anabolics or androgens for good?

What anabolics or androgens will not excite this? PrimoBolan? VAR? Proviron? I mean if I can, which ones will not provoke this?

How many of you good bros does this happen too?

Is there anyway of preventing this so I can cycle Test and IGF?

If you read all of this, thank you. K for answers

Call me naive, but...

Wouldn't this be a great question for your Doctor and not a board full of non-medical professionals who use AAS?

Be careful, bro.

I have, and I have had full sets of tests run, ultrasound on my heart, stress test, bloodwork, holter monitor, nothing shows up. only other thing i left out is when i eat when i'm ON, I get hot for a while after I eat.

do you still cycle or do you ignore it? well, you canot ignore it, its really uncomfortable, xanax could help.

I still cycle, and try to ignore it, as long as i dont pass out or it gets progressivly worse, i can handle it, but i hate sweating everytime i eat worse lol

how long do your episodes last? it usually hits me about 10pm when i've eaten big between 6pm and 8pm. when i breath in i can feel my heart beats kinda like if i was puffing on a straw and toggling the other end opened and closed. feels like butterflies in my chest. do you feel we are doomed. i read of that bro dieing and claiming he had irregular beats. i might have had irregular beats before but wouldn't have monitored it but now that i cycle naturally i'm paying much closer attention.

i've had episodes in the past five years before i ever cycled where my heart would race and feel like i was having a heart attack and would go to the er and they would give me xanax and it would chill me the fuck out.

i will say this, lavender oil and other oils from these home remedy places, one is called peace and calming oil, i don't know what it is, it really helped end this last episode.

thing is, i don't abuse the shit, and wasn't abusing igf, and if there is a way to keep doing it or if i can get answers for certain that this is nothing but benign activity, then i'll continue on cycling. and might try igf again. for now though i'm chilling. and it fucking sucks. i wanna be ON about 100mg of test prop eod and maybe some primo and tbols. a dose of 350 primo and maybe 60mg tbol ed. sounds like killer cycle. im drooling but i don't want to die for this shit. i am getting cut, dieting good, losing bf pretty good with no stims or bs, just diet. i want to get ripped and then do a good bulker. i am losing little muscle in the process, not much strength loss, not much muscle loss, but pretty much just fat loss. it's sweet.

but if igf fucks with my heart, so would growth obviously so that rules that out. i'm thinking of possibly primo/NPP cycles, short 4 weekers. 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off. i donno, getting off track here. still looking for answers to these questions. BUMPPPPPPP

i am thinking that the igf is causing that BUT has nothing to do with Afib....but more to do with the insulin effect of igf......how much igf are you shooting at once? before or after meals? how many carbs are you taking in?? my first run with igf i was low carbing along with tren to really drop bf fast....pre workout i was shooting 50mcg and another 50mcg pwo but with minimal carbs...i was getting INTENSE, dizziness, sweats, nausea, rapid heart beat etc....all symptoms of excessive insulin or low blood sugar which igf WILL cause in the same way as using insulin with not enough carbs...shit can be deadly

It's a clear cut panic attack. Caffeine is a trigger, but alcohol should actually calm that down pretty quickly. Once that release of adrenaline starts it just keeps escalating. Xanax doesn't stop afib or tachy...it calms down a person with escalating anxiety. Once that happens the adrenaline release stops and your heartbeat and breathing go back to normal. It is absolutely possible for the AAS to exacerbate the symptoms. There are 1 million things that can trigger this and actually being worried that it will happen again can trigger one.
Valerian and l-theanine are good to help calm you. The biggest thing you can do for yourself is believe their tests are accurate and realize that a panic attack can't hurt you. Once you aren't afraid of having one, you'll never have it again.

I dont think we are doomed lol, i've had this things my entire life and they are uncomfortable and make me freak out, but i dont think AAS has effected it much.

Just makes it easier to have one with the AAS in your body. AAS alters the HPTA which is what is controlling that adrenaline release.

As a survivor of 3 catheter ablation proceedures for A Fib / Flutter I can offer a unique viewpoint.
Nothing you do is causing it. There is several known triggers for the episodes including caffiene, ephedrine, testosterone, and all other androgenes. I'm not sure about IGF, of HGH.
I had my first episode about 20 years before I was diagnosed. I thought it was anxiety. It wasn't untill I had a SVT and a pulse of 272 (no shit) that I was hospitalized, and properly diagnosed. I didn't respond to medication very well, hence the ablation proceedures. I can't say enough about how much better my life is since then. I highly recomend it for anyone with reoccuring A Fib / Flutter.
I have to get to work. Good luck Bro. Feel free to PM me if you want to hear more.

my buddy who gets them had them happening before he ever did steroids. only thing i ever had was anxiety before steroids, but i think possibly like the guy said, the hpta is affected releasing more adrenaline when a panic attack occurs and then your in a vicious cycle until it stops or you calm down. i donno. i do wish to hear more.

You need to know if this is anxiety or A-Fib, or ST this will make a difference on how it is treated. They were trying to triger one with the stress test. (Was it a treadmill or dob. stress test). A-Fib is where the top part of your heart is not pumping efectivly, but the bottom is pumping fine. Like you said the risk is blood clots. People live for many years with this, you will need to be put on a blood thinner though for clots. ST or anxiety are sinus rythems but fast, and will not hurt you granted it is not in the 200's Ha! Fact is you are symtomatic and in a hospital setting we would have to treat you, what ever it is. just my 2cc

when on the holter they picked up one run for 3 seconds of 225, it was when i was downstairs checking emails and eating breakfast and got up to go upstairs to goto work. weird. it doesn't really happen unless im on the shit, however it may be happening but less noticable cause my heart isn't beating so hard. i know when i start drinking alcohol, i notice my heart will beat differently. but i usually don't pay attention to it. cause it's not really annoying me. fuck i donno

whats that bro?

But again, a rapid heartbeat and a-fib are two completely different things. Your pulse shooting to 225 for no reason in absence of a-fib is anxiety related. You said all tests came back normal right? So it is anxiety. They wouldn't give you xanax for a-fib....but they do for a panic attack.

Right now you have connected eating to the rapid heartbeat. So no matter what, every time you eat, your body is going to give you a surge of adrenaline because you think that your heart is going to start rapid firing. You get scared of something and your body produces the fight or flight reaction and amongst other things, secretes adrenaline. So what your brain is afraid of is having an episode like this.....and your body responds by releasing adrenaline....and it makes exactly what you don't want to happen, happen.

They perpetuate themselves. This can continue to get worse if you keep trying to find out "what is wrong with you", by staying in a state of anticipatory anxiety (that is fearing the next episode), and trying to fight when it is happening.

This is easier said than done, but you need to realize that it isn't dangerous and you almost have to welcome that feeling. If you feel your heart starting to race, almost challenge yourself by saying "is that all you got" or something to that affect. If it doesn't scare you, then it can't continue to happen. Because it is fear that makes it happen in the first place.

I can guess that you are probably about 21-25 right? It's about that age that guys start to realize their own mortality and the possibility of death, etc. It's also when you have to start living on your own, supporting yourself and maybe a family, etc.

Sorry for the long post. Get some things like l-theanine, valerian, or kava kava to keep you calm. Of course lifting helps, but so does cardio. It will help you get through this period and make it easier for you to realize that it is mostly an involuntary thing in your body and not something medically wrong.

Good luck bro.

i agree with everything you said. it starts as a rapid heartbeat and then turns into afib. i am positive it is afib, i read the physical things that happen during afib and it's whats going on, in my chest i can feel fluttering like crazy, like my hearts going way way to fast, but in my pulse is all over the place, skipping beats, then back to the races then slow, all while skipping irratically. apparently the atril atrium? is beating way way to fast and then the ventrical side of the heart realizes there's an error and tries to correct the situation but knows not to beat the 200-400bpm that the atrium is blasting out. now, i've woken up outta sleep with my heart doing this. the first time it happened is when i got all checked out. i told my doc i was on the shit and he said we better investigate whats going on. shit came back normal and better than normal. i am going on 31 years old also. i went through all that mortality anxiety a few years ago. but being that i just started fucking with juice for the first time in my life, over the last year. and now i'm having issues. i don't know, makes me nervous, i got two kids. i want to grow old. now, if the stress of being nervous about being on is stressing me more than i think and causing this in itself. i don't know. but am damn interested. my doc thinks it's only tachy, but he doesn't know that i have pinpointed whats happening to afib. im thinking of discussing it with him just to see whats the scoop. whenever i can get in for an appointment that is.

The only thing is they can see a-fib on the monitor. You may be right though. What you feel in your pulse is actually ventricle contractions. So if your heart is racing, I don't think it is afib. The flutter is that feeling of adrenaline right in the center of your chest. But better to go back to the doc and have them rule it out 100%. You may actually have mitral valve prolapse which is causing your heart to take off. Anyway, good luck.
