Are you handy around the house? Do you fix things or would you rather call somebody else to fix it? Do you do your own sprucing up around the house like painting, carpentry, remodeling, etc. or are you just all thumbs and don't know which end of the nail to hit with hammer?
A few things I have done but had no idea how to do:
Reroofed the house including putting down new plywood.
Redecked my front porch.
Tore out the plaster walls and sheetrocked my den.
Sanded and stained and polyurethaned all of my wood floors.
Recarpeted the bedrooms and retiled the bathrooms.
Hell, I find projects to do just so I can buy more tools! All I do is buy how-to books and then jump in with both feet first.
My wife can't understand why I have to have so many tools but Guys....we all know why. Somethings just can't be explained to wives!
