Questions about Pullups and HST

I was wanting to implement pullups into my new hst cycle next week, however i have one problem. As much as i want to do the pullups, i cant seem to pullup my bodywieght 15 times. Now i hope this doesn't mean i cant incorparate this into my hst because pullups really hit my back hard. I know i can hit 5 and 10 pullups, but with weight however...im not too sure. I dont have a machine that allows for help when doing the pullups either. My other back excerise is bb rows just incase you are interested. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

i can do a solid 4 pull-ups before i fail. seriously, i dont know why. i think my biceps (yes, my biceps) are so weak that i cant do them. ironically my lats are pretty kickass. i guess all the years of DL'ing and rows grew them.

I suggest you do lower reps eg. 3-5 reps but with added weight on you, that way you'll be strengthening ur pullups and when you come back to your own body weight, 15 reps should be easier to achieve

hmmm, i like the idea, however i doubt i could achieve such strength in just a week. I dont doubt my abilities, i just believe it would take more time. And considering i start cycle 1 of hst next week, that option is very feasible for me. Karma for the suggestion though, during my cut i may try this.

No, i didn't say i wanted to achieve 15 pullups in one week, i was more interested if anyone had any alertnatives (lat pulldown for 15 reps)

The pullup assist machine is a great option if your gym has it

I personally find pulldowns to be very different in feeling than pullups, it may not be easy to progress the weight smoothly if you're switching between those two.

But that's what I'd do given no pullup assist machine.
