Exactly....just say what do you have to lose?

You may have a lot to lose if your beliefs limit what you would like to do in your life. Americans and Christians are not very religious at all compared to other religions that I have seen. Most Christians haven't even read the entire Bible. I wish it were easy.

Organized Religion is all about MONEY...

The single most successful con game in the history of the world...

Nothing else is even remotely close..

1. Maybe your chosen religion is wrong and god is really from another one. There are so many religions chances are good you will burn in hell anyway.

2.You give political power to people not deserving it. This ranges from crusades over inqusition to modern priests molesting little kids

3.You spend a lot of money on your religion

4.You spend a lot of your free time in your church

And pls don´t respond with " i don´t go to church, i don´t give money to money to the church..." , because i was talking about people that actually are religious and not just pretend to be.

Norman Bates and biteme, frankly, I don't think it's that easy. Pascal's Wager wouldn't actually work IMO. YOu can't simply say ok, I believe and bam! you're taken care of. There's a whole lot more to it than that.

BTW Norman, I had no intention of responding with either of those.

America was built as a christian nation. the fist school was a church, the first teacher was a preacher. (in god we trust)(one nation under god)etc. all of our history is based on Christianity, do we teach this in our schools anymore?. many believe that as we keep giving god the boot, and push him further and further out of our homes, schools, beliefs etc, and replace him with sin, he is taking the umbrella of protection with him.

sure it takes faith, but who is a man without faith?
christianity is the only religion that prophesizes the lords return, not only that, there is prophecies of the things to look for before his return so that we are prepared. prophecy is A prediction of the future incase your having trouble with this one. run a search for end times prophecies, after knowing them, and seeing that most have already come to pass you may realize HMMM!! this stuff might be for real. heres a link, i haven't looked at it to well but it has the prophecies on it.

America was built not under Christianity, but rather under Puritanism.

There is a huge difference.

When have you really seeked God about anything? How can you sit there and say God doesn't speak to us? God can do anything he wants. Just because Jesus isn't on the earth right now doesn't mean that miracles can't happen and that he can't talk to us. He only speaks to his fully committed followers. God speaks in many ways, usually through his living word (The Bible).

The rain falls on the just and the unjust alike. God doesn't micro manage the people of the earth. We are given an opportunity to make a decision. You can walk in faith or not, it is up to you. During this time, faith is at a premium in light of the wisdom of mankind trying to elimintate God with evolution and Big Bang Theory.

God doesn't need us, but he does love us. The Bible doesn't tell us everything, but we are created in his image. He is cultivating his fields, harvesting the people that will remain with him forever. The one's that rebel and choose their own ways over God and his Commandments - are judged (which we all deserve!!). The judgement of God is just. There is no such thing as "free will". There is no society on earth where "free will" exists. There are always rules to follow, even your employer makes you follow protocol. God does have a plan for everything, i do believe that. Whether you are a part of it or not is your choice. The sacrifice of Jesus is the only way we can be permitted to escape the judgement of God that we all rightfully deserve.

God doesn't want to watch billions of his children burn over and over again for eternity. God has no choice because they choose to reject him and choose this path. There is always a price that has to be paid for anything.

Satan did come as an angel of light to decieve and destroy. He comes in many ways. Islam worships the God of Allah, not Yahweh. Allah is the moon god that ancient mid eastern tribes worshiped. It is a pagan god. I have documented proof of this, read this article:

http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/moongod.htm

It shows some of the differences between the God of Christians and what the Islamic faith follows. Many people are decieved that Allah is the same thing as Yahweh, this is a total lie. Many people are calling for the unification of religions, Pope included, that marks what is prophesied is the Book of Revelation. Many things in the last few decades have been found documenting events in the Old Testament, but have not been released by the anti-Christian media. It is a leap of faith to follow Christ, and it is not an easy walk. To bear the Cross and live a life like Christ also means to go through trials that test your faith. You have to give up the things of this world to inheret the Kingdom of God. This is something most do not want to do. If God did speak to you, wouldn't you have to believe? Wouldn't you have to lay down your life for Christ and follow him? Do you really want that?

If i recall correctly the anti christ brings is supposed to bring peace to the middle east.
So if Bush conquers several middle east nations and enforces peace, would that make him the anti-christ then? :p
