questioning Serostim

I have just been prescribed a 30 day supply of Serostim, in the 6MG vials. When I received the invoice on the box, it said that the cost of this for the month was $6,522.90 (that six thousand five hundred dollars and ninety cents). I am shocked. Does this sound right to anyone, or does it sound crazy? I am honestly curious about the price of this stuff.
I'm a long time reader of these threads, though I'm not a premium member. Thanks to anyone who might have some insight into my question here.

No, that price is about accurate. You can go to walgreens or cvs online and compare for yourself. I get Serostim through mail order and the copay after insurance is $70 per month. (Of course this is indirectly as the script is really for someone else and their insurance covers most.)

Right about now, you are going to be bombed with PMs from people promising to get you GH for much much cheaper. And while you can score Jinos for around $275 per kit, if this (as I suspect) is for a legitimate medical reason, then don't take a chance on anything else but what your doctor Rx'd you. For legal purposes of course.

You are welcome.

If you have a script and insurance it is much cheaper. If you are using GH for performance enhancement, I would opt for the jinos, but if it is a medical reason, I would stick with Serostim which the script is for, just so there are no insurance complications on down the road.
