Question

Gym Owner

New member
Hey guys, got a quick question for you guys, hopefully one of you will have an answer.

I own my own gym, kind of a dream job. It isn't one of those pussy ass gyms with a bunch of d-bags doing cardio. It is a bodybuilding and power lifting gym with a bunch of bad mother fuckers that workout there. Very well known and respected in the area.

Inside the gym, I have my own little supplement shop. I sell the basic things like protein, pre-workouts, test boosters, ect.. and also sell the latest legal pro-hormones that are out.

My question is regarding the research chems, especially the SARMS. Would it be legal for me to sell them out of my store? Or is that a no go? Would also like to carry things like Clen, and PCT products like Clomid.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

good question but I would think it would open you up to legal problems. those items are for research purposes ONLY. you need to talk to an attorney about this and also realize these research chems are very strong and if used incorrectly can cause major problems for the users. these aren't protein shakes and bars you are selling here. pretty ballsy to sell them out of your gym don't you think? if you were to sell them ultimately you better educate these guys how to use, but something like clen can cause extreme sides that can end someone up in the hospital with chest problems.

I would like to know this question as well as I'm opening up a gym next year as well and this sounds like a helluva idea

I can't seem to get a straight answer either way. I would sell them under the "not for human consumption" guidelines, but worried that the DEA would come knocking on the door, even if everything was legit. I've talked to some local authorities about it, and they said they really don't know. I've tried to make contact with the FDA and DEA but no reply from them.

I personally would stick to the staples like protein, creatine, preworkouts, aminos, etc....just to cover your ass since you are selling them publicly out of your own business. The last thing you need is some kids parents wanting to sue your ass because he decided to take a methylated PH you gave him for 6 months and he now needs a liver

I already sell the Pro-Hormones, and have been for a couple years. I have had no problems regarding that situation. My policy is you have to be 21 years or older, and sign a waiver that states I am not responsible ect ect.

if you care about your business and its doing well then I wouldn't do it considering you can't get a straight answer from anyone.

do you really think its worth making a few bucks margin taking the chance? I mean these people are smart if they are who you are describing and can easily go online and buy the same exact thing cheaper by using the label .. so I am skeptical you would be able to sell any research chems except maybe if you were dealing with the older dudes who are computer illiterate.

Well, I have been looking into it for awhile. I believe it has the opportunity to be very profitable. That is why I am looking into it. If it was just a situation where I would make a few bucks here and there then I wouldn't worry much about it. You know how much money you can make by selling a product like GW-501516 and marketing as the secret to rapid fat loss?

What if instead of carrying the products at the store, I put together a product and price list like a catalog. Then the people could order from that. Think that would suffice or still too much in the gray area?

Bottom line is by selling them in your gym you are opening yourself up to huge risks. You may say not for human use and all that. But you just said you are going to market GW as the secret to rapid fat loss. To who? People?

You even advise someone on how to take it you can get in trouble. You tell them you took it and you can get into trouble. Do you really want to lose your gym and maybe more?

Even if you had a list and email or a website. As the owner of that research chem company, just referring people, you are opening yourself up to incredible risks.

you will be completely shutdown in less than 2 months... i wouldn't even consider that... stick with what you have going on

The way people are so quick to drop a lawsuit, I would avoid selling any of that like the plague. People will shake you hand tell you all day long that they know what they are doing and how to take it BUT the minute something goes wrong they are going to come after you especially since you are only miles away compared to something you purchase online. Remember, there is ALWAYS one bad apple on the tree to ruin it for everybody. Also, who's to say that a 16year old is not gonna go up to somebody who's 22 and throw them an extra $50 for them to get them a PH, remember being under 21 and wanting some alcohol?

All they have to do is gather evidence that you are selling for personal use (and not research) and your toast. That being said, they are elephant hunters, you may get away with it for a year, 2 or more but rest assured the day will come when they will be knocking on your door. Be prepared to put a lot of that extra income to retaining a good lawyer, you will need it.
