Question to mods...

So, every few weeks we all see a new post saying "do not PM mods for sources... only contact by secure email." That's all well and good, but why does it have to be so hard to reach you guys by that secure email? The email links to every mod gives a message saying that you are not accepting email. So my next step was to PM a few mods simply to say, hey, do you mind if I shoot an email your way? I need your email address to do so. I even gave my secure email address so the mods didn't have to send their secure email by PM. I got one response. ONE. And the one who responded did so by PM and still didn't include the email address.

Now, I've not been around this board in a while, and I've never made very many posts because I'm here to read and learn. But when I, or anyone else, needs more private info, does it have to be THAT hard to get in touch with someone securely. Don't get me wrong, I know that every mod here has a life of their own. You don't want six hundred emails a day you don't have time to read. You have jobs that don't include living on this board. But it seems to me that you became mods to oversee the forums and help people out who need it. Couldn't you be a little more reachable?

Now, flame me, whatever you're going to do, but I'm betting that I'm not the only one who has wanted to ask this question.... Not trying to start a war here, just looking for some info.

Mods are not obligated to return anyones secure mail. Much less, someone they don't know or hasn't been around on the boards for a bit.

Some mods & members here clearly have an ego problem & simply feel they are above responding to your questions. Mods who feel they are big shots and act this way should be de-throned. See, some people here are nothing in the real world so here they play big man on campus and get there rocks off by treating anybody with under 1000 post like shit. And to all those members who act this way SUCK MY BALLS!! Respect goes out to all those mods and members who are here to help

talk about balls! LMFAO! Don't you think that was a little harsh?? He has been here for close to a year , yet you have been here less than a month. So one guy is bad cause he has been here 10+ months and only posted 7 times. One guy is good cause he has been here less than 30 days and posted 190 times? No offense , but some people have better things to do with there time bro. Hayceed has a legit point. He said he has been ignored, the least a mod could do is shoot him an email that says "go fuck your self" or something if they don't want to help him..

To inhibitor13, I'm glad to know you have the balls to flame me after being here for a month. Nope, I've not posted a lot. I'm here to read and learn for the most part. Isn't that the big complaint of the old-timers here on the board? Newbies shoot off at the mouth too much too soon? Yep, I've been here for a year with only 7 posts. And in that year, I've been through the birth of my first son, the severe post-partum depression of my sig. other, the change of jobs, going back to school to change careers while working a full time job, the pregnancy problems with my wife and our second son, followed by the two month premature birth of that son. Let's see how many posts you make during all that. So you go ahead and flame me....

It's good to know that there's someone out there willing to help regardless of the number of posts. This is a great forum, and I expect people will come here for a long time yet to get info, so everybody should keep up the good work.

Hey Mustang_18... great to see you again. You have always been helpful to me. As the first post said I too have never been able to reach a mod by secure e-mail except you M_18. I do enjoy reading the replies and getting all the knowledge that they offer. There are just those times when you can't find the answer that you are looking for and would like to be able to get a one on one answer.
