Question regarding T4

BrunoES

New member
I have been dieting for about 16 weeks now, and I strongly believe my thyroid is fucked up. Ive made some research on the symptoms and since I have so many of them and my weight/fat loss has suffered a major decrease I ve decided to go on T4 (Well, why not T3? Because I dont have access to T3). I am not looking for an extra boost in my metabolism, I just want to get my thyroid back to normal, not supercharge it. My question is, by taking 200mcg/day of T4, how long do you believe is going to take to reach my normal thyroid range again? Days, weeks? Please let me know! Thanks guys!

My doctor appointment is already scheduled, I am just wondering how long is it going to take to get my thyroid back to normal with T4 200mcg/day, in case I need to!

Your doc should relay all of the info you need. Have You tried google searching?

your thyroid is probably fine. you just have a shitty metabolism. get off your ass and exercise more and change up your diet. get a juicer and start drinking veggie shakes every morning to kickstart your metabolism. trust me it works. lots of kale and green veggies

you don't want to be put on thyroid meds for the rest of your life when you can just change a couple things first do you?

I actually was diagnosed with hypothyroidism as a kid, but the doctor thought it wouldnt be a good idea to put me on meds on that age. I am doing 2h of cardio everyday plus the regular workout, I am not lazy, trust me, my diet is also on point, as always. I take my nutrition very seriously

I am not your doctor and I don't know your situation but let me give you some color. was it that you were diagnosed as a kid because you were fed a poor diet? i see this sort of thing a lot

i am curious as to what would happen if you did what i wrote above for even just 2 months.. even if you get bloodwork and you are hypo you can work on speeding up your metabolism in other ways rather than going on drugs.

This^ out of all the hormones your thyroid is one you should try not to fuck with. Instead of 2 hours cardio try a half hour of interval training... Sprints, bike sprints and so forth,
I have a good article for you to read...

I'm sure this applies to men also

^^^ exactly unless you are a 50+ year old female with major health issues I would never advise anyone to get on thyroid meds for the rest of their lives. that would suck having to take a drug daily FOREVER.

of course kids and young people have thyroid issues these days.. look at the diets. look at the fat parents with their fat kids everywhere .
