Question on HIT training.

I plan to cut down from 4-6 sets to failure per BP to 2 sets to failure per BP.

I am planning to do 3 muscles on day 1- off day 2- 3 different muscles on day 3- off day 4.... REPEAT.

What do you all think? Is this enough rest in your experience?

I'm trying to increase the number or rest/recovery phases i can get in in 1 years time. Before this i have done a 6 day split with 4-6 sets to failure per BP.
