Question on Estrones

Lately been reading that the "BAD" estrogens are called "estrones".

DHEA converts to Estrone. So the estrogen that DHEA converts to is bad?

no estrogen is either bad or good. Estrones are much less active in the body than Estradiol (E2), which is the main concern and that is also why it's usually the only one that is being measured.

If you really want to know about it--this online book has the answers (the whole book is online and very good) but its a little dense and assumes an understanding of biochem and organic chem. If I reference something often it comes from here.
