Ok say I'm in Manhatten, hmm 42nd street, how far, and how long would it take me to get to Staten Island?

Not long at all (30-40 minutes - depending on traffic) Are you driving? Head over to the Westside Highway, take the Battery Tunnel to the BQE then hop on the Verrazano Bridge.

If someone else knows a better way, please let her know.

Ok the reason I'm asking is I'm thinking of doing a competition there, but haven't decided yet. I'm trying to figure out how I would get there first, and I know if I came
down my bus it would bring me to Manhatten.

I may fly in, is 1 of the airports on or near Staten Island?

Are you going to stay in Manhattan? Have you looked into getting a room at a hotel/motel in S.I.? Is the show the same day you arrive? How do you planning on getting to the show? If you stay in Manhattan, get a room at a hotel in the downtown area.

They have a host hotel with a discounted rate for competitiors on Staten Island, so I would be staying there. The show is Saturday, I would arrive on Friday.

Well, you could take the train to Penn Station (34th Street), then either take a cab over or hop on the #1 or #9 train to Battery Park. Take the S.I. ferry and then grab a cab when you get to the island to take you to the hotel.

Or you can take a bus (WHY???) to Port Authority and then take a cab or the train

Or you can fly into to Newark Airport (NJ) or JFK or LaGuardia and take a shuttle van to the hotel.

Does the host hotel have a shuttle to and from the airports?

I am going to stop over at the Chairman of MA/NH for the NPC's office. I think he said he was getting some info in on a August 6th show. I believe its figure.
I will post what ever details I find!
