yes, i just bought one recently. it's a vapir one (tm).
tried to use it a few times, but no success. i mean, complete failure thus far.
i have to wonder if i'm doing something wrong, because i'm getting nothing but complete
sobriety. i did a quick search for tips or troubleshooting, but didn't find anything
useful (beyond basic shit which i've got covered).
i've read a few things which imply that it isn't the best, but others which are well-respected can be quite expensive. however, i would expect it to do something...

Lestat, without a doubt the Volcano vaporizer. It's like $800 usually, but from what I hear it's worth every penny. Its high quality and works great!

yup, the volcano is the one i was thinking of. it is a bit of a wallet-rape, but if it really does work well enough to compare with smoking, then even $800 is worth it in the long run (if you care about minor things like nasty smoke swirling up inside your lung).

i've used them in the past. the cheap ones fucking suck. i've used some where i think i was more high from sucking so hard rather than any THC. there are some good ones though, but i've never personally owned one so i don't know which brands are best.

If you are worried about your lungs just smoke better bud! (smoke less, better high) Vaporizors waste too much weed right now, wait until they improve them.

Somebody just happened to have a few grams. We stuck a needle in wax, stuck a ball of o on the exposed end, lit it and covered it with a glass. when the glass got smokey you lift it up a hair and rip that smoke. never seen opium before proly won't see it again.

I have a version of this and it works quite well. The flavor is really nice and theres none of the side effects that come from inhaling smoke (red eyes, sore throat, etc).
Can't beat the taste of a joint, imo, but a vapo has its place.

had opium a few times over the years. always had it over a bowl of weed, or in a joint with weed, just like some of y'all. i agree that it was like an intense stone, and not some different kind of thing. but the cool thing is that at least some kinds will taste and smell almost like candy. though i smoke a lot now, i've never liked the taste of any weed. smoke is just nasty. but even i can enjoy smoking some opium, so that might tell you something.
