Question for Robert Jan....

I am an American which kind of means that my knowledge of customs in other countries is somewhat limited.

What countries in Europe.... could an entirely English speaking citizen .....live in without undue hardship?

Canada is just too damn cold. :cold:

You can see that my English is ....well....perfect. :)

BTW....I have England down already.

Cross it off your list... Tuc lives there....

Not worth the trouble... it's bad enough having him on the board....

.

well holland is a pretty good choice, nearly everyone here can make themselves understandable in english. countries to avoid for sure are germany and france, especially france since the french are so damn chauvinistic that they often refuse to speak english even when they can.
scandinavian countries are good as well.

He is not ALL bad.

I know for a fact that he likes largish female breasts.

has anyone been to Belize (south america) I heard that it was an English colony so its primarily an English speaking country

Scandinavians are usually pretty proficient in english. The germans are not that bad, at least not the younger generation. I've never had any trouble with germans myself regarding communication in english. The dutch like Robert Jan is very good at english. The french, as stated here is hopeless. They will probably understand it (to a certain degree), but refuse to speak it. Spain and Italy, not so much. At least not in my experience. The same goes for most "eastern countries".
But why would you want to live in a foreign country, and not learn the language, it would be almost like going to the beach and not want to learn how to swim?

Since you are displaying the norwegian flag in your profile (why is that?), why don't you pay us a visit?

Holland, Flanders, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Berlin (I say berlin and not germany because many germans dont know english but most berlin folks do)

Basically nothing with a great climate :)

Although Greece or Italy could probably be done.

I would learn the language but this would take a while. Never liked learning a new language....I know some German and Spanish though.

I had no idea where Bouvet Island was.....I liked the sound of the name. Also.....it really throws the feds should I mention previous useage of roids. :jester:
