Question for Nelson:1998 article on short cycles?

Nelson,

I was just wondering if you still believe that the protocol you outlined in your article entitled "Steroids for Health" is valid? What would you change in it if you were to write it again?

The thoughts you put forth about short-cycles intrigued me and I believe were similar to some stuff Bill Roberts wrote a while ago as well.

Thanks,

Funny you should ask.

I address that article topic by topic in "Bottom Line Bodybuilding"

As unexpected as it was, "Steroids For Health" turned out to be significant piece of the chronology of early steroid info. (And, BTW, Bill Roberts wrote about the short cycle approach years later).

There were a couple of inaccuracies in that piece. We know a lot more today than we did then. But all in all, I think the basic message still holds up as good advice.

The main things where I've changed my mind are...

The use of Deca. (Terrible stuff)

The use of testosterone for first timers. (In low doses it can have its place).

Okay, I read your article your book "Bottom Line Bodybuilding". Which do you suggest Sustanon 250 or Deca? Even though you say some negative things about Deca it stills seems that your not totally against it.

I'm thinking about giving your ideas a try. However, I'm doing this primarily to benefit my Martial Arts training: Brazillian Jujtisu and Muay Thai and of course some lean mass.

So should I try Sus and winny or Deca and winny?

Thanks

Since winny is hard on the joints, I'd go with Sus and Var. Pricy, yes...but a nice stack. Though I still believe D-bol and Primobolin is the "King of Stacks" for solid gains.

Nelson,

Again, I've read your new book and found it interesting.

However, you really don't go into how much or how you would run the sus 250 and var. Would you run it the same way you prescribed for the deca and winny stack? And your certainly right var is pricey.

thanks
