Question for NASCAR fans

What do you think about them taking races from some of the more traditional tracks like Darlinton and Rockingham, just for the sake of adding races in non traditional areas?

I'm not a huge NASCAR fan, but the idea of not having two races at Darlinton just seems wrong. I understand the reasoning behind the moves, get more fans, sponsers, and money, but they seem to be willing to forsake tradition for money, and that is just selling out in my opinion.

I know tradition doesn't pay the bills, but what about layalty?:(

I grew up with car racing, all kinds in fact.....I have known, and still know quite a few old timers....It grows more and more each year, different sponsers, different color schemes for certain races....This guy now drives for that guy, he switched from Ford to Chevy, I honestly thought when Dodge came back it would make it a bit more exciting, but it's getting to the point of a bunch of boy band looking kids driving around without paying their dues like they used to.....

I now watch womens ping pong.....Heh heh heh

Yep, I grew up watching Petty in a Dodge, the Alabama gang, Cale Yarborough, and all the old timers. Now it doesn't seem the same. :(
