I'm just about to start the third week of the 5x5 and everythings going pretty good, already noticed improvements in strength, but i just booked a trip to the Dominican for next sunday. They have a gym there so i'll be able to still work out but im pretty sure my diet will turn to shit and i'll be drinking a fair bit. Should i just push through and finish the 4th week while im there, or deload that weekend and then do the 4th when i get back?
 
The stimulus is really the entire 4 week block, the final 2 weeks being the real core afterwhich you deload. Too bad the trip isn't week 5. Just keep going, if you miss a day and it pushes back your schedule so be it but better not to if you can avoid it. Diet won't kill you, stay as hydrated as possible when you aren't drinking. Don't lift with a heavy hangover or dehydrated. I can't really say you this is a good or desirable way to do it but you'll get more out of it than you would if you deloaded this week because chances are you are not loaded properly yet so it defeats the purpose.
