Question about USPS

Had two packs sent to me Thurs. morning using USPS Priority mail. Been checking the tracking numbers through their website and get this message, "There is no record of that item. If it was mailed recently, information may not yet be available. Please try again later." My source is solid and I am sure they were mailed. I checked out some old threads and saw that this was a problem then, but has anyone experienced this lately. Whats the point of having a tracking system if they dont scan the damn packs.

Here's the deal. They scan the package when it is recieved by the shipping post office and then they will update it again once it is delivered. It is so the source knows that the package has been delivered to you.

Thanks bro. Not really worried, just does not make sense to have a tracking system and not use it. But, then I must remember who we are talking about here.

ups is going to be verry bissy for the next few mounths.I am shore they will be haveing all kinds of shit like this happaning all the time.as long as you get youre pack its no big deal.now is the best time for people to get there gear.the postle service and ups cant keep up with it all dering the holladays so they check a hell of a lot less packs then they normaly do.I am going to order my shit around dec 15 or so.I love the holadays.

I did take this into consideration when ordering. I have been ordering a ton of christmas gifts lately and having them delivered. Figured I would take advantage of the increased package traffic and get my gear now.

Yeah it takes FOREVER for the USPS to update their systems. Hopefully Santa will be delivering the gifts to you soon!!

usps does not offer package tracking. they offer delivery confirmation. big difference
