Question about usps shipping

I ordered a product online about a month ago and I got a note on my door today saying that it was available for pickup at the post office and that they had missed me. They've never done this before? Is it normal? It says it will be available for pickup tomorrow after 8pm and im like wtf?

Yes its normal. Most likely it was a package that you needed to sign for. Since no one was home they took it pack to the post office. Go pick it up, sign for, and your good to go.

International order? If so then yeah my scenario above is probably right as a lot of international shippers use usps registered air which needs to be signed for.

Ummmm.....You say 8PM your post. My PO isn't open that late. I am assuming you meant 8 am- if not, I would be suspicious.

Pick it up, act normal, look at the box like nothing and everything is cool, walk out. Don't open it in the car, take it home. Open at home and enjoy.

It says 8pm on the card but I'm sure they meant 8am lol.


Yeah it's international so im assuming that is why. I've just never had to sign for a package before so I'm just being paranoid.

Agreed. You weren't home so they didn't leave it there. It needs a sig to make sure package was received. Standard operating procedure. Just sign for it like it's the lol catz calendar you ordered.
