Question about using work laptop at home

So I only have my work laptop right now, and probably for a while. That's fine. What I'm worried about is surfing places like EF and other boards which my work may not agree with. For example, their firewall won't let me access EF while I'm at work because it is considered a steroid site. At home I'm fine.

When I'm at home obviously I'm linked into my own network, not theirs. As long as I delete my cookies/cache/internet history before connecting at work, can they see where I have been surfing and possibly nail me? Or do I need to take other steps as well?

No. And i've never seen a company where they come to your desk and "check your browsing history".

If you do your job well and and are liked - no one cares.

I surf EF all day while I work. No one cares. Cuz they know I'm smarter than everyone here and they need me.
