Question about test shot

I had been using androgel for 2 years, but the numbers starting falling and I was switched over to cypionate recently. The nurse who was showing me how to give myself a shot said that if I draw back the syringe and there is blood in it, to throw it away and start again. This seems like a waste. Is there any reason I can't just pick a different spot and then inject the syringe. I don't see how a little blood would contaminate the test. Opinions? Thanks.

What you can do is pull the needle out and replace the needle head not toss the whole damn thing away bro. This is what I do..

Thanks for the reply. I went again this morning to be walked through the process and gave myself a shot in the thigh. When I got home they called and said the manufacturer recommends the shot be in the glut and that I couldn't give myself a shot in the thigh again. Does this sound like bs? I want to give myself the shot because I don't want to go in once a week. The endo dept. said the thigh was ok.

That's BS u can do it anywhere gluted thigs delts pecs biceps triceps....... Just avoid hitting a nerve u have to learn where r the right spots in every muscle, on ur case the quads my favorites actually the outer quads (vastus lateralis) inject in a 90 degree angle following the muscle shape and go an inch or an inch and a half deep, nothing will go wrong, just sit on a chair or sofa and keep a wide angle with ur knee b4 flexing ur quad and rest ur hamstring on the chair sofa or bed and touch ur quads untill it feels relaxed and soft not hard, yes always draw back b4 injecting but in rare cases when u draw a little blood just change the spot u can replace the needle like needto suggested and get a cleaner one but if done right away u can still use the same one too, it's been years i'm doing that and nothing wrong happened to me, afterall it's ur own blood drawn but of course don't let it out for too long.

Thanks for the answer, I appreciate it. The endo office called and said the thigh was ok, but the nurse at the clinic called them and said I was uncomfortable with doing the shot. What bs. I see it as a control issue. The nurses really want me to come in for the shot. One told me it is really expensive, but I looked it up and it isn't, and definitely cheaper than the androgel 1.62 I was doing. Can I ask you another question? This week I have really watched what I have eaten and ridden my exercise bike every morning, and usually I would have dropped a pound or two. Is there some secret to losing weight on cypionate, or will it even out as my body gets used to it? Thanks.

your goingn to get some waterb retention from the cypionate at first and you might even gain a few pounds at first.....just keep on the diet and the cardio and the fat will come off

Thanks, I am sticking with it, and hope I seem some results soon. I thinking about switching to test ethanate though, as I read it cause less water retention than cyp. Any thoughts on that?
