Question about protein

If all protein is broken down into amino acids and must be in order to be utilized by the body, then what is wrong with sticking to only a few sources such as egg and milk and getting the rest from supplementation such as whey protein and BCAAs etc.

Just wondering, was never clear on this.

Maybe someone like Nelson can clarify for me.

Nothing wrong with that at all. I primarily eat chicken breasts and eggs for protein. Many people advocate eating "real" food vs. a protein shake and I agree (except post workout). Real food satiates you more a than protein shake would and decreases the hunger that may lead you to cheat. Eat 3 chicken breasts and tell me if you want more food after that :)
