I have read several threads that recommend using dextrose in PWO shakes. I am currently using ASN Whey Protein which contains the natural sweetner "fructose". In a single scoop (20 g protein), the sugar content is 1g. Wouldn't adding dextrose to this make for a seriously sweet taste? Additionally, for women, just how critical is the use of dextrose and if it is critical, how much should be added? I'd appreciate any information.
