My post-workout shake consists of 50g protein, 50g dextrose, 1 tbsp of flax seed oil. I am trying to BULK. Can anyone tell me what the hell dextrose does? pros and cons?

Insulin is responsible for shuttling all those other goodies into your muscles. So the dextrose is like the car and its driving the people (proteins/fats) to their house (muscles)
