Question about dealing with ebay sellers

Ok so you know about the feedback thing, so i have 0 feedback ok?
well I bought (using my paypal thingy) for the stuff up front and the bastards still havent left any feedback on my thingy
do they usually wait till u give them good feedback or what? and if you give them a negative feedback, do they also give you a neg feedback? because if my games dont work you better believe im gonna give them negative feedback


so someone tell me how this works
 
yes -- you leave feedback first
did you get the product you wanted? did it arrive on time as stated in shipping directions? if all is good -- then leave positive feedback -- then they will do the same for you.
 
eBay has changed. There are no rules stating that they must leave you feedback first. What they do now is wait until you give THEM feedback, and based on what you give them, they will reciprocate.

so your saying that if i dont leave them positive feed back they will say somethng bad about me?
and after i paid them up front with my paypal stuff? I mean you cant go wrong with cash

Some people don't even leave feedback. No matter what you leave them. But you can be assured if you leave negative. You are going to get negative. Even if you lived up to your end of the deal. People are very vendictive. And fragile !! :chomp:

Yes, thats what they do. Especially if they are uncertain how you feel about what they sold you. They'll wait for your feedback to make sure you dont leave negative and if you hit them with negative, they'll hit u right back with it. Its so wrong, I just dont leave feedback period.. unless i really, really like what i got.
 
Sometimes it may take 1-2 months to get feedback from someone.

Some leave it as soon as the auction has been paid while others wait forever to leave it.

Some will wait until you leave positive for them and then they leave positive for you.

It is perfectly fine to leave negative feedback if your item didn't arrive or was broken or they didn't pay you. However, people on there have a tendancy to leave revenge negative feedback even if you did everything the way it was supposed to be done but they weren't happy.

BTW...I wouldn't worry too much about negative feedback if you are doing things the right way. Some people you can never please and their feedback reflects that.

I got my + feedback once: 1) the Paypal thing went thru & was completed, 2) after I paid right away - like 5 mins after I won and 3) I gave the + feedback 1st.....

What did you buy?
 
Even of they do leave you negative feedback. You can follow up the feedback with your comments. You can even go back ot their feedback and follow up on it and say they are a piece of shit for lying. :verygood: ;)

thats EXACTLY how i feel
i didnt screw anything up and if they dont like that someone left them neg feedback because the product dont work, then they should only freakin buy and not sell

btw i havent got it yet so im just preparing myself in case it dont
 
Well it looks like that seller has alot of transactions. Most positive. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

i was just wondering tho about why they havent left me feedback yet
because ive had messages from them so they HAVE been on the site at least long enough to say "soklueles has paid very quickly and effectively, and shes hot too"

Looks like they do alot of business. Maybe they only do feedback once a week. so that way they can post feedback for everyone at the same time. Would kind of be a pain in the ass to do it everytime you got money. If you are running a bunch of auctions. Which looks to be the case with these sellers.

Exactly. Nothing but if they want to be a fuck stick. They do it anyway. Like Imentioned before you can post a response to what they post for you. :chomp:

Absolutely !!! Sometimes I write them a little note when I get the item and say something to the effect of.

Got the item today. It works great. I have left positive feedback for you. Please when you get a chance do the same for me.

It's amazing. By doing that I have actually got them to post either that day or the next day.

Now if it's broke or not right. That's another story. I won't leave feedback until I am happy. Either give me back my money or replace it.

Yeah, most people who do that much business rely on feedback. So they will make you happy.

This particular seller has 38 negatives out of 8541 transactions. And have been on ebay for four years. I would say the odds are in your favor.
