Quad injection a day before squats?

Can a quad injection affect the legworkout (squats) I'm having a day after ? I always have the feeling it affects me to some degree. But I'm not sure.. I just hate quads injection but running out of places..

I have a very thin chest, I tried once but was unsuccessful so drawn out the pin as soon as it went in. Too scary
