Quad getting worse. What's the problem?

In the middle of last week I injected 100mg of npp into my left quad. By the following Friday, the soreness from that shot was so bad I could barely bend my leg at the knee, let alone train legs. Now, it's Monday morning and my leg doesn't really fell any better. Same stiffness. Same sorness. When's this going to let up? Any thoughts?

Is there localized redness, heat and swelling?

There is swelling of the muscle, but it seems more like a knot than anything else.

put a heating pad on it several times a day this should help

make sure the injection site is not hot to the touch and not red, if it is you have infection and should seek medical assistance
